SBS "Jude and the Rockers" preview...Meet Lilly!

I hope you are enjoying these cuties so far... Meet Lilly!  Now talk about spunk right!?  I love her hair, her little pose, and those eyes!  Have you all noticed too, how they all have fun piercings.... so they are cute, sweet, toddlers with 'tude! Just because they are cute doesn't mean they can't be used in a card for a grown-up.  Tee-hee!  Just look at what I've made with this little lass! The sentiment is from my fellow DT member, Cheri, at Graphicat Designs. Be sure to check out the DT's creations on the SBS blog.  Before you go, check out what I made with this little cutie:

Blogger is a Pain in my #$&!

Ok, folks.  I apologize if I haven't been very good at commenting lately.  I always try to comment on my DT's projects as well as participants in our challenges.  If I see a cool project on one of the many blogs I follow I like to comment as well.  Ever since the last Blogger rehab, my commenting abilities have been increasingly difficult.  Even though I mark the "keep me logged in" box, blogger constantly kicks me out.  I have to sign in again everytime I want to comment.  If word verification is on then the process doubles in difficulty as I often have to log in a second or third time and then my comment gets lost.  It is beyond frustrating!  Please know I look at and admire your projects even if I don't comment.  Sometimes I just give up trying after two or more failed attempts.  My ability to follow blogs has also been affected.  The follow button does not show on many blogs or if it does...guess what?  Yep...I have to sign in again and then the follow box still does not show.  I can sometimes copy the addy of the blog and manually add it to my list, but what a pain!  I miss the old blogger.  Ya know...the one that worked.

Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things.

Today's posting will be a short one as I have a few gatherings to attend this weekend. I made this little layout for Smeared and Smudged's "Oh, The Horror" challenge. This is a movie inspiration challenge and this month's pick is "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things". I haven't seen the movie, but was inspired by the movie title. Here is my take on the challenge:

I used Smeared Ink's "As Death" rubber stamp set for this one, heat embossed it with zing embossing powder, and painted the image with wet perfect pearls. You have until the end of the month to play along. All participants receive a free digi image just for playing. One lucky random winner will receive a prize from:

Skull Appreciation Day...June 4th!

It’s Skull Appreciation Day! It all started at a little blog called Skull A Day. Here’s what they wrote about this new international holiday: “We here at Skull-A-Day have decided that there needs to be an official international day of cranial love! To that end we're starting a campaign to get June 4th (the day Skull-A-Day started) officially recognized as Skull Appreciation Day around the world in 2011, and of course to get as many people celebrating it as possible.”

So, the members at Smeared & Smudged (Thanks Steph for starting it all!) decided it would be fun to do a massive member blog hop. And I do mean massive! We have 37 people in our hop today! That alone is cause for celebration! I think it’s awesome that so many folks have come together for such a unique day…all creating something fabulous and…well…skully! You should be coming to me from Dawn's blog, but if not…go back to the beginning at Terra’s blog (which has ALL the info on the hop). I will have the entire hop list at the bottom of my post though. We have many amazing sponsors for this hop, so please be sure to stop by everyone’s blog…or you might miss out on some great prizes!

Here are my contributions.  Yep.  I made more than one project.  I wish I had time to make a dozen as I love working with skulls!

BTW...although I am posting this on Friday, the hop and Skull Appreciation Day begins on Saturday June 4th, 2011.

Click on any image to enlarge it. blog has some ADULT CONTENT.  You may want to view this when the kiddos are outside playing or taking a nap.

This first project uses a digital skull stamp from Smeared Ink.  I colored it digitally and added some light effects.  The papers are digis from oscraps and the purple roses are Itkupilli.

My second project is a digital skull made from several mini digital skulls.  Pretty cool, huh?!  I'm loving PSE!

This one cracks me up!  I took a pic of Barbie and Ken celebrating Skull Appreciation Day in their "special way".  Do you like Ken's tattoo?  It's the skull image from Smeared Ink.   I used digital papers from Crafty Chaos Designs and used the scrapbook sketch from Smeared and Smudged's "very sketchy" challenge.
Your next stop on the hop is the amazing Donna!
