RSD is Sponsoring Cute Card Thursday!

RSD is sponsoring Cute Card Thursday this week and the challenge theme is Circles.  A few of us ladies in Rick's EDT were able to play along as GDTs for your inspiration.  Be sure to check out the Sparkle and Glitter with Rick Blog to see what the rest of my teamies made.  Also, feel free to check out Rick's Zibbet and Etsy Shoppes.  There are new images being added all the time and Rick's Zibbet shoppe has well over 700 images to choose from!

You should definitely enter the Cute Card Thursday Challenge to have an opportunity to win a prize from Rick!  For your chance to win, just make a project that follows the Challenge theme and rules over at Cute Card Thursday and link your project in the appropriate spot.  Easy as can be!

Pictured below is my take on the challenge. Click on the image to enlarge.  I used Rick's "Sugar Plum Fairy Mouse".  When you are done checking out the eye candy here, be sure to go play along with Cute Card Thursday!

Reminder for Rick St.Dennis Progressive Challenge 1 part 2

Hi all!

It's inspiration time again. This time Team B is showing what we made using  the "You're a Winner Nyner the Little Monster" digital stamp drawn by Rick St. Dennis MFA.

As you know, those who entered the first part of the Rick St.Dennis Progressive Challenge received this image from Rick because they were all Winners of course :-).

If you didn't enter part 1 and still want to have a chance on winning the prize, there are almost 2 weeks left to enter.
You will need the "Nyner You're a winner" image.
He can be found in the Zibbet shoppe here.  The theme is still Steampunk.  When you have your project finished and blogged, don't forget to link it up here
Just scroll down to the linky for part two.

Here is my take on the challenge using Nyner:

I used Steampunk themed digital papers from Susan's Crafty Chaos.  Sadly, Susan no longer sells her wonderful papers.  I colored Nyner digitally this time around and added him to a sketch from the "Very Sketchy" challenge on the Smeared and Smudged Forum.  The Steampunk elements are from this fabulous designer.  Be sure to head over to the Sparkle and Glitter Blog to see what the rest of Team B has created for your viewing pleasure!

Also, check out Rick's Fans and Friends Facebook Page for more challenges.  Rick has his personal Red, White and Blue Challenge.  Use any of Rick's images and make a project using predominately Red, White and Blue.  Your project doesn't have to be patriotic, just use the colour scheme and post your project HERE.  Also, email a copy of your Red, White and Blue project to Rick at
On the fourth of July 2014, Rick will display all of the entries on his blog and will also announce the name of the winner who will receive a BIG prize!  Rick will judge the Red, White, and Blue challenge himself and will be looking for original use of colour as well as overall excellence.

Have fun playing in the challenges!  We can't wait to see what everyone will make!

Part 2 of Rick St. Dennis' Progressive Challenge

Are you all ready for the next round in Rick St. Dennis' Progressive Challenge?  Those of you who entered in May's challenge should have emailed Rick and received the "special image" this month for free. For those who missed out, don't despair!  "You're a Winner!" Nyner the Little Monster is available in the Zibbet shop to buy.

The theme was set last month - "Steampunk" and so we carry on until the finale. For details on how the progressive challenge works, visit the Sparkle and Glitter blog.

Below is my take on the Challenge.  Click the image to enlarge.  I colored Nyner with Copic Markers and stippled three shades of Distress Inks around him. I then scanned my colored image to my pc and finished my project digitally. The background is a treasure map and I added Steampunk elements from This Fabulous Artist.

Be sure to head over to the Sparkle and Glitter blog where we have for your inspiration a selection of artwork from Team A. I think you'll all agree Nyner looks fabulous in all of the projects.  Check back in two weeks to see what Team B will create for you.
