I'm Lady Brayton. Welcome to my blog!
I am participating as a wicked blogger for THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN blog hop hosted by the Smeared and Smudged Forum.
To learn more about the 31 Days of Halloween and to find out how non-bloggers can win prizes, click this link. There will be multiple prizes daily and a HUGE GRAND PRIZE at the end of the month!
For your convenience, I will keep the blog roll posted on the left sidebar of my blog. The hop goes LIVE everyday in October at 9:00am PST.
You should have arrived here from Vee's Blog and your
next stop on the hop is Lindsay's Blog.
Today is Day 8 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN.
It is also Monday which means it is time for a new challenge over at Smeared Ink's challenge blog, Smudgy Antics. The challenge theme this week is:
"MOVIE MADNESS".
We were asked to make a project inspired by a movie. Since we are in October and Halloween is fast approaching, I went with a scary movie.
I chose an oldie, but a goodie..."Rosemary's Baby".

Here is my offering:
The main image is "RB" from Smeared Ink's "Movie Madness" digi set. Inside the crib is "Demon Baby" from Smeared Ink's "Babies of the Damned" digi set. The papers are from Crafty Chaos Designs which sadly is no longer in business. The roses in the upper right corner are from Itkupilli. The skull in the bottom left corner is from Smeared Ink. The Smudgy Antics challenge goes on for a week and a Smeared Ink gift voucher is up for grabs. You don't even have to use a Smeared Ink image to play. Go to the Smudgy Antics blog for details.
Everything was colored and assembled in PSE8. I used a flipped version of the sketch below from the "Very Sketchy" challenge on the Smeared and Smudged forum. The forum challenges go on for the entire month and have prizes too. For those hoppers and bloggers that are not SS forum members, you may wish to join. There are monthly challenges, ATC swaps, matchbook swaps, gift swaps, and blog hops of all kinds. It is a great place to make new friends and to network with like-minded crafters.
Sorry for the long post, but I happen to love Smeared Ink and its Forum.
I have met some of the most caring, friendly, and talented ladies over there.
I am convinced that there are crafters out there that like the darker, edgier side of things and are lost in the land of Magnolia.
Please help these crafters find a new home.
Our house is big and our arms are open and we welcome the odd, the quirky, and the not-quite-right individuals. We welcome the normals too ;)
Have Fun Hopping!

BTW...Smeared Ink will once again be offering high quality, deeply etched, unmounted rubber stamp sets in their monthly rubber club!
