I'm Lady Brayton. Welcome to my blog!
This is a combined post so please forgive the length. I promise tomorrow's post will be MUCH shorter!
I am participating as a wicked blogger for THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN blog hop hosted by the Smeared and Smudged Forum.
I will be posting a new, stamped project everyday during the month of October dealing with the theme of Halloween and Day of the Dead.
To learn more about the 31 Days of Halloween and to find out how non-bloggers can win prizes, click this link. There will be multiple prizes daily and a HUGE GRAND PRIZE at the end of the month!
For your convenience, I will keep the blog roll posted on the left side bar of my blog. The hop goes LIVE everyday in October at 9:00am PST.
Not only is today DAY 1 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN, it is also Monday which means it is time for a new challenge on the Smudgy Antics Blog. Smudgy Antics is the weekly challenge blog for Smeared Ink.
The theme for this week's challenge is
"DANCE WITH DEATH".
I am combining my Smudgy Antics DT piece with
Day 1 of the 31 Days of Halloween.

I decided to make a scrapbook page. I used one of Smeared Ink's NEW RELEASE images "Dance with Death 1" which will be available in the shop soon.
I also used "RIP Tombstone" and "Cross Tombstone" from Smeared Ink's "Build a Graveyard" digi set and "Bat 3" from Smeared Ink's "A Little Bit Batty" digi set.
Everything was colored and assembled in PSE8. The light effects and glowing pumpkins, as well as the papers, are from a digi scrap kit from oscraps. I believe the kit designer is Lotta Designs.
I used this sketch from Bird is the Word:
Be sure to check out the Smudgy Antics challenge too and don't forget about the New Release at Smeared Ink! For all you wicked bloggers, Smeared Ink has several digi stamps that are perfect for this hop!
For those that don't know, Smeared Ink also has a forum (Smeared and Smudged) that has monthly challenges with prizes as well as blog hops, ATC swaps, and project swaps of all kinds. They are the ones hosting this hop :) If you join the forum, you are sure to make new friends and be able to network with many talented individuals.
Thanks for Looking at my work!
~ Lady B ~
I would like to enter my project into the following challenges:
Bird is the Word: optional sketch and use the word TOUCH. I've used both.
Corrosive Challenges: Villains and Monsters. I used the Grim Reaper.
Sentimental Sundays: Use a sentiment and 3-2-1 of something. I used 3 digi papers, 2 tombstones, and one bat.
Quirky Crafts: Use a Monster. I used the Grim Reaper. If he doesn't count as a monster then I'm sorry. Feel free to delete my entry. No hard feelings.
Challenges 4 Everybody: Anything Goes.
WOW! That is an awesome page. I love the glowing effects and I definately have to build me a graveyard. Thanks for sharing.
