I have some medically induced time on my hands and decided to pass the time being crafty. Here is my creation for today:
(click image to enlarge...if you dare)
"Howling Wolf" from the "Part of the Pack" digi set
"Grave Scene 3" from the "Holy City" digi set
"Open Bust" from the "Gross Anatomy" digi set
The moon is from a digital scrap kit I got from oscraps.
The blood splatter was created by me. This looks so much better in real life.
I wish the green ribbon showed more as it is some of the most awesome ribbon I've ever seen. (Thanks for the RAK, Barb).
I used some black ribbon at the top of the page and an awesome metal spider charm in the left hand corner of the photo (Thanks for the RAK, Andrea).
The cool spiderweb paper was a RAK from Croms. I feel so loved :)
Sorry if I'm rambling on and on. It's the painkillers.
Cheers!
Lady B
Here are the challenges I wish to enter:
Robyn's Fetish Challenge #113- "No Flowers" - You spoke, I listened. No flowers were used :)
The Squirrel and the Fox - Make it sparkle, I used black shimmer cardstock and red glitter cardstock and added a shiny metal spider embellishment.
Make it Monday - Anything goes - My project is "something" :)
Poisoned Peas Please - Gothic or Emo (must leave comment) - I hope my project counts, if not you may remove it :)
Haunted Design House MM #139 - Strange brew, use 2 layers, 1 main image, metal bits, black pearls, ribbon or trim and one punched element.
I used more than 2 layers, I hope that still counts. I used 2 ribbons, the green in the middle under the photo and the black trim at the top of the card. My metal bit is the spider embellishment. My punched bit is the drippy goo border under the main image. For the black pearls I used black puffy paint in the upper left hand corner of my card. I hope the scene I've created counts as one main image.
My scanner doesn't really pick-up glitter and shimmer too well.
I assembled and colored the focal image in PSE8 and printed it out on 4 x 6 glossy photo paper. I mounted this on some shimmery black cardstock which was punched with my MS "Drippy Goo" punch and red glittery cardstock with a green ribbon sandwiched in the middle.I wish the green ribbon showed more as it is some of the most awesome ribbon I've ever seen. (Thanks for the RAK, Barb).

ReplyDeleteWell look who is a drug addled artist now! Brilliant work!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of our recipe too!
Thanks for playing in the dungeon with us at HDH!
great card, Love the way you have used the colour, it gives it a real depth.
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by, I have done a couple of Andy's online workshops and am booked on for the outcasts later this year. I am also lucky enough to live near one of the craft shops where he does his live workshops, I have done 2 so far.
I can't recommend the courses highly enough, the timeworn was the first real thing I did in crafting a couple of months ago. It really gave me confidence to continue crafting. It was down to the people on the course(forum chat) that made me start blogging.
if you want to know any more drop me a line. mark
Thanks, Mark! I am definitely going to take the outcasts in the fall if it is not already booked. You are so lucky to have seen some of Andy's live workshops! I'm a wee bit jealous. I will probably give you a shout in the near future. Thanks!
