The 12th Day of Creepmas!!!

Hello!  I'm Lady B and I'm last on the hop list.  You should have arrived here from Lisa's fabulous blog.  If not, or if you found my blog by accident and want to start at the top of the hop list, head on over to Terra's blog.  I have posted the entire hop list below in case anyone gets lost along the way.

Pictured below are my contributions for Day 12 of the 12 Days of Creepmas blog hop hosted by Smeared Ink
Can you believe I still have a project or two I haven't posted?
Come back Creepmas Day to see.  Today is a Smeared Ink Day so I have one creation using rubber from Smeared Ink's rubber club and I just had to share one last RSD project.  You will understand why ;)

For my Smeared Ink project, I made a paper lantern using a cut file from SVG Cuts "Spooky Soiree".  I adjusted the papers to fit in with the Christmas season and used stamps drawn by Rick St. Dennis and sold exclusively by Smeared Ink in both rubber and digital sets.  For my purposes I used rubber from the Morte set, the Voodoo set and the Dark Holidaze set.

Rather than Vellum, I used clear acetate and applied alcohol inks to one side and when dry I stamped on the opposite side with Staz-on ink in Jet Black.  I love the way that ink smells!  It was hard to get proper pictures, but I hope you get the general idea of how my lantern looks.  I definitely need a new battery operated tea light or votive to brighten up my lantern.  I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.  At first glance it looks like a traditional Christmas lantern, but when the inner light glows and the creepy images come to life, one definitely knows it's time for Creepmas!  Perhaps I should add some spiders to the lantern?  What do you think?

Pictured above is my Creepmas finale.  I used  "To all a Good Night" digi stamp by Rick St. Dennis.  The image was coloured with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  I used DecoArt paints and mediums on the tag, but didn't keep track of the items.  Sorry.  I added recycled mesh from a fruit bag, staples, a wooden snowflake, a mini Christmas tree and some twine to mimic the noose.

I hope you've enjoyed the Creepmas hop.  Thanks to all who have looked at and commented on my work.  Your comments mean the world to me and gave me encouragement to keep plugging along with projects even when I was sick in bed.  You rock!
Creepmas hugs to all xx.
