Congrats if you've made it this far down the hop list!
I am Lady Brayton.
If you arrived here from Kat's fabulous blog, you are on the right track. If you came from someplace else or arrived here by accident and want to start the hop from the beginning, head over to Terra's blog. After you are done with my blog, your next and final stop on the Creepmas 2013 Blog Hop is the amazingly talented Alison. Although I am posting early, the hop goes live at 9am Pacific Time.
I have added the entire hop list to my left sidebar.
I want to thank everyone who has left such lovely comments on my blog. As soon as I get some time off work with no projects to make, I intend to visit your blogs too and return the love.
Today I made Candy Cane Wreaths. For the tutorial, visit the Tuts and Comments Blog (if you haven't done so already). Click the pictures to enlarge. I apologize for any blurry photos as I've had bad hand tremors lately.
For my first wreath I used Hersey's Chocolate Mint candy canes decorated with curling ribbon and the adorable "Everett Elf" from RSD's Zibbet Shoppe. I reversed Everett so he had a twin. The elves were colored with Copic markers and the background paper was colored with Distress Inks.

For my second wreath I used a stamp from the "Dark Holidaze" rubber set drawn by RSD and sold exclusively as a "Past Offering" through Smeared Ink's Rubber Club.

Here is the wreath hanging. Sorry about the poor lighting and I don't know what's up with that one extra long candy cane. LOL! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Happy Holidays to All! ~ Lady B ~ |
Again - great wreaths! Apparently the red and white candy cane factory needs some quality control - lol.
ReplyDeleteFAbulous wreaths and wonderful tut, Lady B! that weaving and tying looks like so much work I may have to resort to the hot glue route. Gorgeous coloring on both images, as well. Hope you have the Merriest Creepmas EVAH! xxD
