Thanksgiving is on November 28th. This celebration is unique to the states. The rest of the world each celebrate in their own way but tend towards a quieter "Harvest Festival" with the Harvest Moon in September/October although there are others. As the US is the home of our illustrious leader, we are celebrating with Rick.
