31 days of Halloween day 25 with Lady B Representing Airless Chambers

Hi!  I'm Lady Brayton. Welcome to day 25 of the 31 days of Halloween organized by Smeared and Smudged.  I am lucky enough to represent Airless Chambers today.

Airless Chambers is also a Cryptkeeper in the Halloween countdown 2013, for the complete list of 192 Cryptkeepers joining the countdown to Halloween, see link here.

Today I have a few simple makes to share.  The two below both utilize images from Rick St. Dennis' "Voodoo" rubber stamp set which is sold exclusively in the "past offerings" section of the Smeared Ink Rubber Club.  Click images to enlarge.

The images were stamped onto Copic X-Press-It paper with Memento ink in Black and colored with Copic markers.  The backgrounds use various colors of Distress Inks.  I used Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. I then poked holes in the paper and sewed a decorative edging with colored floss.

My third and final make uses Hedwig Halloween.  She is a sassy witch and hasn't made it into the shoppe yet, but you can find many more cool Halloween images drawn by Rick by clicking here

I first printed my digi stamp and colored her with Copic markers, fussy cut the image, and outlined the cut edges with a dark gray marker.

My second step was painting my tag with DecoArt Americana paint in Lamp Black (DA067-3) and allowing it to dry. After the paint dried I applied DecoArt Weathered Wood (DAS8-9) which happens to be my favorite Crackle Medium.  I allowed the DecoArt Weathered Wood (DAS8-9) to dry naturally.

After the Weathered Wood Crackle Medium was dry, I painted the tag with DecoArt Americana Premium Multi-Surface Satin in Lipstick (DA506-30).  The multi-surface satin paint has a beautiful satin finish and comes in 40 gorgeous colors.  I used the paint on paper, but this paint is designed to adhere to almost every surface without the need for a primer or a sealer.  I'm looking forward to making some home decor items with this paint :)

For a final touch I added some mesh from a bag of fruit and stapled it to my tag then I adhered my image to the tag with DecoArt Americana Decoupage Matte (DS106-45).
