Smudgefest Day 2 of 7 - Terrifying Tuesday

Today is day two of Smudgefest sponsored by the Smeared and Smudged forum and Smeared Ink.
Today's Theme is Terrifying Tuesday.

We were asked to showcase our favorite scary Smeared Ink image.  Smeared Ink has so many awesome scary, spooky, and grotesque images it was hard to choose so I had my husband pick his favorite scary image.  I hope that doesn't disqualify me, but I just couldn't make up my mind.

Below is my offering for Day 2 of Smudgefest.

I used one of the creepy images on Smeared Ink's
"As Death" rubber stamp set which can be purchased through Smeared Ink's Rubber Club.  Isn't this image awesome?  It looks like the skeleton has his hand up a half torso and is playing with a meat puppet.  LOL.  It also reminds me a bit of the Masque of the Red Death.  Anyway, I'll get back on task here.

I stamped with Memento ink in black and colored with copic markers.  The robe used V12, V15, V17, BV08, C7 and C9.  The golds are Y17, Y18 and YR16.  The Reds are R24, R46 and R59.  The skull uses C0, C1, C3, C5 and a touch of C7.

The background is from the "Inky Dreams" rubber stamp set which is currently retired, but will hopefully make a comeback in the future. I used Distress ink in fire brick red and dotted some areas with copics in R46 and R59.  I also used Distress inks mustard yellow, dried marigold, and wild honey.  The MS Drippy goo punch came out to play and after a few crooked cuts with my broken paper cutter and a few strips of adhesive double sided tape my project was complete.  My scanner shows my project a little brighter than it is in real life, but it's close and I do  hope you like it!

Be sure to check out Smudgy Antics to see the other amazing submissions for Smudgefest.  There is still time to play in the fortnight challenge as well.  The theme is fussy cutting so why not combine that challenge with one of the Smudgefest challenges and double your chances of a win?

Cheers!
