Manic Monday - Smudgefest day 1 of 7

Today is day one of Smudgefest sponsored by the Smeared and Smudged forum and Smeared Ink.

Today's challenge theme is Manic Monday.
We are to make a project that utilizes 2 opposites.
I chose to work with Life and Death.  I have a lady loading up her rifle to kill the zombie.  OK...technically I used alive and undead, but the zombie will be truly dead soon enough so I hope this entry counts.

Below is my offering.  Click image to enlarge.

All images are Smeared Ink.  I used Anita.  She was a freebie one month. She can also be found in the "Chicks Dig Guns" digi set.  The background is from the "Holy City" rubber set offered by Smeared Ink's Rubber Club.  It was stamped with Memento ink, colored with Copic markers, and scanned to my pc.  The last image is "half zombie" from Smeared Ink's "Build a Graveyard" digital stamp set.  The zombie and Anita were colored digitally and added to the graveyard scene.  I attempted to add a fog effect, but wasn't too successful.

Be sure to check out Smudgy Antics August 5-11 to play along with Smudgefest.  You can still play along with SA's fortnightly challenge as well.  This is the last week to play along with the fussy cut challenge.  You have until midnight on Saturday the 10th to link your entry up so consider combining a Smudgefest project with the Smudgy Antic's challenge.
