This bad boy pictured above can be found on the Airless Chambers Blog.
He is colored with copics, distress inks, and a white gel pen.
I used a dark blue card base with a black border of webs by MS. I added buttons in the corners because I didn't have the right size card to get the punch to go around the border perfectly. Yep. We DT members make mistakes. We just find creative ways to use them or cover them up :)
Copic Colors: BG0000, BG02, BG05, BG07, BG45, C3, C5, C7, Y08, R46.
Inks: Stormy Sky, Faded Blue Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot.
If anyone can suggest a GOOD WHITE PEN, please let me know.
CUTE ALERT!!!
The Summer Faerie below can be found on the Sparkle and Glitter Blog.
This is a hybrid project. I first colored my Summer Faerie with Copic Markers.
Dress and rose colors: RV0000, RV00, RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09, C0, C1.
Skin: YR000, YR00, E000 and if I used others, I forgot.
Blush: R20 and R00
Eye make up: V12, V15, V17, R20
Eye color G14, G19
Yellow flowers and wand tip: Y11, Y13, Y08.
Hair: RV66, RV69
Here is where the Hybrid part comes in. I scanned the image to my pc. When I "biggie-sized" my image, I noticed the coloring wasn't very smooth in some areas so I smudged them a bit in PS. I also erased my bits of pink that went outside of the lines rather than fussy cutting. Then I found these super cute elements from Kitty on Oscraps (the Dwelling Hill collection) and made my own little scene. I removed the faerie from her white background and put her in her own little magical prairie.
Enjoy!

Love your creations! The scene you created for the fairy is great. And I love the colors you used for the dragon creation. If it doesn't have to be a super fine tip, you might want to check out Faber Castell's white PITT pen. It has a bullet tip and is white India ink, so it will pretty much write/draw over anything.:)
ReplyDeleteFabulous, love both
