Glam on a Friday Evening

Happy Friday!
Most that know me know that my creations tend to be on the darker side of the crafting scale.  Today I felt like going for Glam rather than Gore.
A lady has to change it up once in awhile :)

Here is my creation.  Click on pick to enlarge:

I used this fabulous image, "Miss Razz Matazz", drawn by Rick St. Dennis.
Yep, Rick is the same guy that draws some of the coolest Halloween images, Creepmas images, Creepy Valentine images, and even Creepster (Easter) images.

I wanted to let folks know that Rick doesn't just draw dark images.
I just happen to like using his darker images.
I  wanted to show my own artistic range and show folks I can create pretty things too.

Rick's Euro line is full of cute images.  His has a whole section of his shop dedicated to Wonderland and another dedicated to fairy tales and mythical creatures like mermaids and sea sprites.  Rick has drawn tons of beautiful female images.  Way too many to list and link.  Not only does he draw gorgeous ladies, he dresses them to the Nines!

My tag started out as plain manila.  After loads of spray inks and making several tag bases at once, I dried my tags with a heat gun and ironed them flat.  Sadly, the only time the iron comes out is when I craft.  If a fabric is not wrinkle free or can't be fixed with wrinkle release spray, I don't buy it.  Some call it laziness on my part.
I call it being practical and saving time.

I went a little overboard with the ink on this one so I chose an image
that would cover the bulk of the tag and be flashy enough so it wouldn't get
 overshadowed by the dark background.
Miss Razz Matazz was the perfect choice!
She was colored with copic markers and I used puffy paints and stickles
for the sequence and gems.  The photo doesn't do her justice.
Miss Razz Matazz sparkles in the sunlight, but we haven't had much of that lately.
It is time to make a light box for photos me thinks.

I finished the tag off with an EK success border punch and added pink paper behind it so enhance the fancy edge.  There is a sheer purple tie on the tag, but I tucked it under to get a better close-up of the tag as my camera wanted to focus on the ribbon rather than the image.

Sorry for the book.  I guess I'm a bit chatty today.
Cheers and have a great weekend!
