Another fortnight has passed and it is now Monday so that means it is time for another inky challenge with Smudgy Antics. The theme for the next two weeks is an easy one.
We, at Smudgy Antics, challenge our followers to make
ANYTHING BUT A CARD.
Here is my take on the challenge:
I found this wooden train whistle in the dollar bin at Target which is a department store in the states. I used all Smeared Ink stamps in my project and stamped directly onto the wood with Memento Ink and colored everything with Copic Markers. I used the "Li'l Grumpies" set in rubber. That was the first stamp set I bought from Smeared Ink years ago. You can still get the rubber if you are a member of Smeared Ink's Rubber Club. The Heart is from the "Candy is Dandy" set which is also available through the rubber club. The stars are from "A Very Skelly Christmas" which is currently retired and not available in rubber or digi form. Perhaps it will reappear around Christmas for Rubber Club Members.
I did add some white puffy paint to the eyes of my Grumpies and made the pupils with my black copic marker.
Head on over to the Smudgy Antics Blog for a reminder of the challenge rules and to get more inspiration from the rest of the DT gals. A Smeared Ink gift voucher is up for grabs.
I will be entering my project into the following challenges:
Smeared and Smudged GDT Challenge: Alter something
613 Avenue Create: Anything Goes (optional sketch). I skipped the sketch.
Challenges 4 Everybody: Anything Goes
No Matter Which Challenges: Anything Goes, Must use stamp
That Craft Place Challenge: Anything Goes
Make it Monday: Anything Goes
Cheers!
