Smudgy Antics: Create a project with a Pocket.

A fortnight has passed and it's time for another challenge with Smudgy Antics!

The challenge theme this fortnight is to
"Make a Project with a Pocket".

We at Smudgy Antics challenge you to make a project with a pocket.  You can make a decorative envelope, a pocket card, or you can add a pocket to a canvas or a journal page.  If paper isn't your thing, feel free to go three dimensional and alter an object using or creating a pocket.  The more unique, the better.  We love it when you guys and gals think outside the box!
Just remember to use a stamped image (real or digi) and follow the rules posted in the left sidebar on the Smudgy Antics' Blog.
You will have 2 WEEKS to submit your projects to Mr. Linky.

For inspiration, head over to the Smudgy Antics' Blog and check out the work from the Smeared Ink DT gals.

Here is my take on the challenge.  Click images to enlarge.

I will soon be an Auntie again to my second great-nephew.  The card above was for the baby shower.  I posted the front, inside, and back of the card.  I will start backwards with my descriptions of the pics.  The bottom/backside of the card uses DCWV cardstock.    The baby prints on the back of the card were a complete accident.  I found this in my stash of baby boy stuff when I made a baby book for one of my nephews 3 years ago.  I have no idea where the foam stamp came from or if I still have it, but I knew I wanted to add the footprints to the card.  Since the prints were a bit messy, I added them to the backside of the card.

The middle of the card has a simple pocket attached to cardstock with Copic X-press it double sided tape which is currently my favorite adhesive.  It is super strong and even sticks to glitter and ribbon.  The sentiment reads, " Wishing you a happy and healthy delivery of your little Hellion".  Yeah, I'm strange, but my family loves and accepts me anyway.  I was lazy and gave a monetary gift so my nephew and his GF can buy whatever they want or need for the baby.

The front of the card uses images from a catalog and Smeared Ink Stamps from the  "Babies of the Damned"  collection as well as Smeared Ink's  "Movie Madness"  digi set.  If the demon baby scares you too much, but you'd like to buy the bassinet, you can  grab it as a single here.   Momma was a bit afraid of the card, but she had a good laugh.  My great nephew is due the first week of February so stay tuned for news and pictures.

Oh!  Don't forget to make a project with a pocket for the challenge!  A Smeared Ink gift voucher is up for grabs!

Cheers!
