ANYTHING BUT SQUARE with Sparkle and Glitter

The new challenge is up over at Sparkle and Glitter with Rick.
Team Sparkle, as well as a few of the Glitter ladies, got to play around with this one.
The theme for this fortnight is "ANYTHING BUT SQUARE".

The challenge this next two weeks is aimed at testing your ingenuity, but ordinary cards are also welcomed of course - as long they are NOT A SQUARE.  Any project that is not square in shape will work, be it mixed media, tags, ATC's, altered items, etc.

We are honoured to have Kathryne of Stamp Art Design sponsoring this week's challenge. She is generously offering 5 digis from her shop to one lucky person.  There will be the usual EDT choices that will win some of Rick's wonderful images as well.

Here is my take on the challenge.  Click image to enlarge. I made a tag using TASHA from Rick's "Randi Dandi" line.  She is colored with Copic markers, Spica gel pens, stickles and puffy paint made for paper.  The background is made with various colors of Dylusions Spray Inks.  I rounded the two corners on the right side of the tag and added a decorative punch to the left side.  I added a simple ribbon to the tag as I didn't want to go overboard and distract from Rick's beautiful image.  The tag was mounted on white cardstock for added stability and to allow the punched shapes to be highlighted.  Head over to the Sparkle and Glitter Blog for more inspiration from the EDT gals and then be sure to check out Rick's shop to find some fabulous images to use in this challenge.  Remember, if you use one of Rick's images, you get an extra entry for the prize.  How fab is that?!
