The 13 Days of Creepmas, Day 2

This hop takes place December 1st -  December 13th.  As far as I know, this is the original Creepmas Blog hop that inspired so many others.

I have a cute digital card for you today. 
The background is from Itkupilli and the papers are from my stash.  What totally makes this project are the stamped images used to create the scene.  I used three stamped images, all from Rick St. Dennis.
I used The "Creepmas Tree" that was made for our dear EDT member, Gloria.  You can see that I used the poor "Sad Frosty" as well.  I realize he has an ax in his head, but I think he is too cute! Lastly, I used "Gimme Candy" from the Halloween section of the shop.  If Christmas trees and ornaments can be in the stores when I am trying to find skulls for Halloween then I can have a pumpkin candy bucket in my Christmas Creepmas Card.  Everything was colored and assembled in PSE8.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is FAB-now my back story would be that the little imp clobbered poor Frosty and took over the Holidays-and a cheerier event it is with shrunken heads and dead snakes---really fun and wonderfulicious!!!!

  3. How clever to combine the three images! Such a Creepmas atmosphere! LOL I'm sure I've had a Boxing Day headache like poor Frosty! And the holly berries is the perfect touch on the bucket! Fabulous background and shadowing, too!

  7. Well, I've said it before Lady B, your digi work just rocks! Gimme Candy looks like he's jumping right off the page after clobbering poor frosty. Creepmas at it's very best! xxD

  8. So much to love here!! I'll start at the back - the way you "stitched" the papers together is fabby and the ticket look of the forward paper really ties it up in Creepmas cheer. And three image so nicely coordinated - cool! I totally agree with others that the candy satyr is the culprit and the shining star of the scene!

Lady B, my instructions for using the printable shrink plastic say to use the Hue/Satuation choice under Image -> Adjustments and lighten the image by 28% on the Lightness bar, which is not the same as the Saturation bar. They also say to test this. My first try wasn't quite right but I can't remember if I had to lighten it more or make it darker. I used it anyway since the layers together with the snowflakes took two whole sheets and that stuff is pretty expensive.
