I'm Playing in the Dungeon this Month! HDH149

If you are looking for my Smudgy Antics post, please scroll down
to the next post or click here.

I was lucky enough to become a guest Minion in the Dungeon over at Haunted Design House this month.

I was thinking they would break me in easily, but I was wrong.

The torture has started in full force!

I now fully understand the meaning of Macabre Monday as it has been singed into what little brain I have left.

My first challenge with the Minions proved to be the hardest challenge of all times for me.  I came prepared for blood and gore.  I was ready for the creatures of the night.  A spell or two would not have thrown me off guard, but what the Minions asked of me was almost too much for my feeble mind.

This week's challenge, HDH149, is "Bare Bones" or in common speak, Clean and Simple.  Ohhh!  The Horror!  I tried to escape this task, but they had my shackles chained to the brick wall.  Escape was not an option.

Here are my humble offerings:

I used Smeared Ink Stamps from the "As Death" set.  I am lucky enough to own this set in rubber, which is now retired.  No worries, you can pick-up the digi set here.  I stamped with Versa Mark embossing ink, added Zing black embossing powder, and heat set the image.  Only black and white cardstock was used and of course, no embellishments.

I'd like to enter my first piece into the following challenges:
Tammy's Scrapin Corner: "Anything with Wings"...see above comment.
That Craft Place: "Black and White"...I used the color scheme.

Here is a second project I made.
The lashings stopped after submitting this one.
I used "Half face Zombie" from Smeared Ink's "Zombie Headshot" digi set.
He was originally colored with copic markers, but I tweaked him a bit in PS to add a bit of texture to his decaying skin.

I would like to enter my second project into the following challenges:

Make it Monday: "Anything Goes"
Paper Pretties: "Make a Square Card"...My card is square.

Okay, macabre fans... your challenge this week:
HDH149
"Bare Bones"

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that uses NO dimensional embellishments. That's right.
No rhinestones, no pearls, no ribbons, no chipboard.
Pretty much a clean and simple layout. It doesn't have to be
a single layer card, but no bumpy bits.

Good luck with your task.

Head over to HDHMM for more inspiration from the Minions.

Cheers!
