  • fibers or ribbon
  • metal
  • paint
  • chalk
  • newspaper
  • pencil
  • deco paper
  • glitter
  • stencils
Here is my project for the day:  If you click on the pic it will direct you to my flickr account.  Under actions you can click "See all sizes" and you will see a larger picture.  This isn't one of my better pieces, but it was the best I could come up with after a long day at work.

Well, blogger is being a complete ASS tonight and wasn't letting me upload pics.  I've restarted my computer and tried my secondary computer and neither worked.  I finally managed to post it through flickr so hopefully it will be visible to everyone.  Anyway, here are the details:

I used "Plague" from Smeared Ink's "As Death" set and painted it with acrylic paints.   Inside the image, I added some yellow fiber/thread.  I mounted the image onto glitter cardstock in bright red and bordered the image with a delicate woven ribbon.  I mounted that onto generic black cardstock punched with my MS Drippy Goo punch and mounted that onto more bright red glitter cardstock.  My final element is metal.  I used two metal brads that were heated and dipped in black embossing powder for a dark, glossy finish.  I also used two metal hinges to which I added more ribbon to make a wall hanging.

Ok.  I used fibers/ribbon, metal, and paint.  I also used a form of glitter...the glittery cardstock.  Hopefully I can get my picture posted soon.  Be sure to stop by Smudgy Antics to join in the fun and win some prizes!

Thanks for stopping by!
