Smudgy Antics Weekly Challenge - RAIN DOWN ON ME

It's Monday so it's time for a new week of challenges!

The challenge theme for Smudgy Antics this week is
"RAIN DOWN ON ME".

Smudgy Antics is asking its devoted followers to make a project using water.
You may interpret this anyway you want.

Here's a blurb from the blog:

"We love when you guys and gals think outside of the box.  You can use water colors, paint with distress inks and an aqua pen, use spray inks, etc.  Heck, you can even go full grunge on a project and set it out in the rain for a bit to get even grungier or soak your project in the sink or shower for a bit.  The more creative and inventive, the better!  If all that is too extreme, just use an image with water and have fun! "

Here is my take on the challenge:

The only water I used was the water in the picture.  The image is colored with Copic Markers.  I scanned the finished pic to my pc and printed it several times.  I fussy cut parts and glued layers with silicone glue for dimension.  All that hard work for nothing.  My camera didn't pick-up the dimension too well.  In real life it looks pretty cool.

Anyway, I decided my framed piece was not enough so I created this scrap page using the scrap sketch from Smeared and Smudged's "Very Sketchy" challenge.  The scrap page is all digital.  I may search for shells this summer and try to recreate this for a wall hanging.  Although this is not my typical style, I like the way it turned out.

Here is the sketch I used:

Have Fun!
