Smudgy Antics Weekly Challenge - ALTER SOMETHING

The challenge at Smudgy Antics this week is "ALTER SOMETHING".

Here is my take on the challenge:

I used a plain wooden box and covered it with some of my favourite papers from Creative Imaginations.  I distressed the edges with ink and painted the lip of the box black.  I sealed everything with Modpodge.  I took one of Smeared Ink's awesome Valentine images, "Holding Heart", from their "Bloody Valentine Set".  The image was colored digitally and printed out 4 times.  I fussy cut the image and layered pieces using silicone glue for dimension.  Sorry.  My cell phone camera doesn't show the depth well.  Perhaps next time I will remember to charge the battery in my real camera.  The hands holding the heart are attached to the box with silicone glue.  I think it needs a few flowers, but I've gone through my stash and either need to buy some or learn how to make them.  For more inspiration, head over to Smudgy Antics to see what the other DT gals have made.

Thanks for looking!
