Smeared Ink Saturday 2.0

Well, it's not really 2.0.  I just wanted to sound fancy.  Today I bring you hybrid projects.  These are all made using Smeared Ink Stamps along with digital backgrounds.

The following projects were just made this afternoon.  They use Smeared Ink's "Vanity" from "The Symbology of Angels" rubber stamp set.  He is colored with copic markers and was then scanned onto my computer.  I was playing with photoshop today.  I do pretty well digitally with picnik on Flickr, but I don't really know too much in photoshop.  I recently learned how to turn JPEG files into PNG files which basically keeps the original image, but makes the background transparent.  That's my layman's way of phrasing it anyway.  What this allows one to do is insert the PNG image onto any background or scene.

Now for TMI (too much information).  I just recovered from pneumonia and then had a massive car accident.  Don't worry.  I'm bruised, not broken.  You can knock me down, but you can't keep me down!  Unfortunately the pneumonia and the bad chest and rib contusions from the accident put a crimp in my romantic life.  Please forgive me if the following projects are a bit risque!

I call this my Stripper Series:

This sassy lass is from Smeared Ink's "Femdom" digital stamp set.  The background is one I purchased from Itkupilli.

Here is the same image as above from Smeared Ink's "Femdom" digital stamp set. The background is one I purchased from Itkupilli.

Below are projects I made for the Smeared and Smudged members' blog hop that was held on 01/19/2011.
They all utilize images from Smeared Ink's "Femdom" digital stamp set and were colored with copic markers.  The first and last projects don't use any digital embellishments.  The middle project uses a digital background and sentiment made using picnik on Flickr.

I hope you've enjoyed my creations.  For more eye-candy and inspiration, check out the Smeared and Smudged forum to see what the ladies and gents have been making.

Cheers!
