So much going on!

As most of you know, I am one of the DT members for Smeared Ink.  Smeared Ink has some truly unique, high quality rubber stamps that can be purchased by the plate or individually.  Click here to check out their images.  They just had three new releases in June that totally rock!

Smeared Ink has its own challenge/social blog as well.  This is just a quick post to let you all know what's going on over and Smeared and Smudged and to encourage you to play along with us.

I'm borrowing Terra's words here:  I'd like to let you all know that we have updated The Challenger group over on the S&S forum with brand spanking new Very Sketchy challenges, an awesome Oh, The Horror! challenge, and an inspiration filled Rock N Rolla challenge! Plus, our guest DT member Lisa has challenged us to stamp something we can wear... you don't want to miss The Challenger this month!

Our July sponsors are just as awesome, and we have had generous donations from both Simply Betty Stamps and Stampotique. Be sure to swing by our main page to get all the info about these fabulous sponsors!

Here are a couple of projects I've made with Smeared Ink's "Nymphs" and "Holy City" stamp sets.

The Tree Nymph was colored with Copic markers.  The background was made using Distress Inks in dried marigold, fire brick red, rusty hinge, crushed olive, and peeled paint.

This is from the Holy City Stamp set:

Once again, the image was colored with copic markers.  I don't remember the exact colors, but they are from the Manga Sketch Set B as that is the only set I currently own.

I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen.  Stop by the Smeared and Smudged forum to join in one of our challenges or to check out the awesome projects created by our talented members.  There is so much inspiration to be gained!

  1. That Holy City card makes me want that set really badly. Your coloring is amazing and your design makes the stamp panel shine.

    Fabulosity!
