Holy City Hallows

I usually do my Smeared Ink  posts on Fridays, but I will be out of town and without computer access so I am posting early.  I am not tech savvy enough to get the "auto post" function to work so I am posting this before I leave.

Here is a card I made using Smeared Ink's "Holy City" rubber stamp set.

I colored this image with my copic markers, mounted it on a forest scene dp then a black border.  The cemetery scene is then mounted on top of a cardboard coffee cup holder.  The cardboard had an awesome texture.  I ripped it a little and rubbed a black ink pad over the textured areas.  This combo was then mounted on the yellow/orange Halloween DP.  For the life of me I can't remember who makes it!  If I figure it out I'll add the name later.  The black backing is my textured "rain drop" paper.  I love that stuff!  I am on my last sheet so I better go get some more!

I'm thinking I should have cut the yellow paper down a bit to be more in proportion with my stamped image.  I left it large as I was afraid it would look too busy if it were smaller due to the patterned paper.  I don't know.  Perhaps I need to add a finishing touch?  Any ideas?

Thanks for stopping by.  I am almost finished with two other Smeared Ink projects that I will post either Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Cheers!
