Haunted Design House Freaker's Free-for-All

Freaker's Free-for-All
I've been wanting to play along with Haunted Design House for a long time, but something always comes up.  This week the something was my dear nephew.  I'm babysitting and he is teething so not much crafting got done.  During the serene moments I did manage to sneak in a punk rock photo shoot.
Anyway, my project is an old one, originally made for Gutter Girlz, but I really wanted to participate.  I even managed to color a Simply Betty image all goth-like, but then lacked the opportunity to create something with it.  My old schtuff will have to do.  For those unaware, the HDH Rules can be found here.

Freaker's Free-for-All

Our challenge was to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween page, project or card using whatever the hell we wanted.  That's right, baby... a true free-for-all... no rules... no suggestions... no limits :) Well, the ONLY suggestion would be that they should be REALLY dark and creepy this week... you know, Halloween is a mere 110 days away!

Here is my submission.  I was going for that campy old-skool grindhouse feel with this scrapbook layout.  I used lyrics from a song.  In case you can't read it, it says "I walk in the door, you start screaming".  I also used a "horror" rub on, lots of distress inks, white paint-pen splatters, a black sharpie marker, and clip art of a heart.  The photo stars me...zombified of course!
I hope you've enjoyed my little creation.  Hopefully in the future I will be able to make a new project for HDH as I want to play with some of the most fabulous, creepy-assed crafters around!
