Featuring Smeared Ink's "Li'l Grumpies" Rubber Stamp Set

Okay, folks!  Today I will be making-up for lost time.  As some of you know, I recently went through many challenges with my family, my health, and my career.  Two of the three have settled down and I am now back in the action.  Although I had kept up with my projects, I didn't have a chance to post all of them so don't be surprised if I post half a dozen times today.  It feels so good to be creative again! Waaaayyyy better than therapy!

This first posting is the remainder of my "Li'l Grumpies" card line (for now), all handmade using Smeared Ink's rubber stamps.  Li'l Grumpies has got to be my favorite set from Smeared Ink so far.  I just can't stop using them.  They are too cute!  I think I'm going to have my husband hide this set so I can get working on some other stuff.  I know.  I'm pathetic, right?  Just purchase the set and see for yourself how hard it is to tear yourself away from it!  To see other examples of how you can use the "Li'l Grumpies" stamp set, check out the Smeared and Smudged forum.  There're a bunch of nice, supportive, and extremely talented folks on the forum.

This card is my first attempt at a shadow box card.  The papers are DCWV from "The Naturals" mat stack.  I'm loving the teal/brown color combination these days.  The sentiment states "what are you looking at".  The spider web is actually from Smeared Ink's "Shadow Thingies" rubber stamp set.  I'll feature a few cards from that set in my next posting.  The stamped images are colored with Copic Markers and I used some Distress Stickles on the web.

This second image uses the same sentiment as the first, but has more of a retro vibe going on.  Once again, DCWV papers (I don't remember which set), copic markers, glossy accents, and ribbon.

Here's another shadow box card.  The cool thing about this style of card is that it can lay flat for mailing and pop back out to become free standing.  The "Li'l Grumpies" image is the focal point with the floral and ladybug accents being from Smeared Ink's "Shadow Thingies" Stamp set.  This card demonstrates the Grumpies softer side, as well as my own.

Below is the Mother's Day card I made for my Mom this year.  She found it quite fitting and touching, especially with all of the family stuff that has been going on.  Here is the front view of the card.  DCWV "Naturals" Mat Stack, copic markers, ribbon,
and of course, Smeared Ink's Li'l Grumpie with a flower embellie.

The following cards, posted below,  have already made an appearence on my blog, but since I am featuring Smeared Ink's "Li'l Grumpies" rubber stamp set I figured I would just group them all together.  Enjoy!
