April Smeared and Smudged Sketch Challenge

Hooray!  I finally finished my Card Sketch Challenge for the Smeared and Smudged Forum.  I didn't follow the sketch exactly.  I rarely do.  I flipped the sketch and (accidentally) changed the side that the ribbon goes on.  Oh well!  It still resembles the sketch enough to count.  I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.  I usually have a difficult time with sketches so I have decided to challenge myself by participating in sketch challenges more often.  Click on the pics below to enlarge the images, if desired.  The first image is the front of my card.

I used Smeared Ink's "Shadow Thingies" Stamp Set.  The cardstock is DCVW (I forgot which pad).  I'll post the exact name of the cardstock and ribbon later.  I'm far too lazy to go back to my craft area to check.

The second image is the inside of the card (duh!), which is also made with Smeared Ink's "Shadow Thingies" Stamp Set.  I kept it pretty simple and left an area for others to write their own sentiment.

Hopefully I've inspired you to head over to the Smeared and Smudged forum to check out the awesome inkiness of others and to join in the fun.  The group has newbies as well as seasoned stampers.  I have gained so much inspiration from these ladies and gents!  Oh...in case you didn't see my previous post, this month's prize sponser is Stamp Insanity Stamps.  They are giving away a digi image set.  The prize is a random drawing from those that submit projects so even if you're a newbie, you'll have the same odds of winning as the vets.  BTW...all the vets were newbies at one time...so get involved already!  We'd love to have you!

Cheers!
