Oh, Great Pumpkin

alcohol ink halloween card, originally uploaded by ladybrayton71.

Here is another card inspired by 31 days of Halloween on Smeared and Smudged. You should check out the blog. It has cool project ideas and challenges. Following this blog has really helped me to tap into my creative side. Also, since I've been having some health issues lately, the blog has been a great way to get my mind off of my issues and channel that energy into a positive outlet.

I made this card with Tim Holtz alcohol ink (caramel, cranberry, and ginger), transparency sheet, archival ink, and stamps. I used the alcohol inks on a transparency sheet then stamped it and mounted it on yellow cardstock. It was so simple and gives a cool effect. The pumpkin stamp was from ink-a-doo. I don't remember who made the bat stamps. Since I make my alcohol ink transparency sheets ahead of time, this card literally took 2 minutes to stamp and assemble.
