Halloween Cube

This Halloween Cube is so easy to make and it can be customized for any holiday or event.
Here are the step-by-step directions:




1.) Cut out two strips of paper, each measuring 10"x2".





2.) Score each strip of paper in increments of 2"x2" squares


3.) Fold on the score lines.




4.) Glue the middle square of each strip forming a cross.




5.) Stamp or decorate each square. In my project, I stamped on cardstock then added a 2"x2" overlay of alcohol inked transparency. I did some embossing as well. If I had glossy cardstock, I could have inked and stamped at once and saved a step, but I just used what I had on hand. You can decorate with all photos, die-cuts, stamps, stickers, etc.





6.) Punch 2 holes in the middle of the topmost decorated square. I choose to use eyelets so I could tie a string without ripping the paper. If doing a photo cube for a desktop, punching holes is not necessary.



7.) Use your favorite adhesive and assemble into a cube. Super easy!




I just wanted to add one thing. With the economy being in such sad shape and art supplies being costly, don't trash a project just because a mistake is made. Some of my best work resulted from reworking a mishap. I even messed up this project! I just replaced my defective 2x2 square with a new one (glued right on top of the old). I hope this was helpful.
